December 2012 Release

The twinkling Christmas lights make me feel very loved. My son is home from college and we are all preparing for some fun family days ahead.

The December Release will make you feel loved too! This release was designed around Valentine's Day, Weddings, and Family Love. All the pieces were designed to compliment each other.

This pattern is beautiful stamped in ink or embossed. It gives an elegant feeling to botanical images, large sentiments, and labels. The design team has used this in a number of ways. Reminds me of the Christmas ornaments we had while growing up.

These tags are perfect for Valentine's Day treats or weddings. The four tags can be die cut with JB-00000 Antique Tags. The "Happy Valentine's Day" banner can be die cut with JB-03775 Label & Banner Dies

This background stamp coordinates with CR-04340 Hugs & Kisses, CR-03800 Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments, CR-03815 Large Sentiments and JB-03775 Antique Tag Dies cuts

Doesn't this background remind you of Victorian tiles and punched tin? My sister just put us some tin panels up behind her stove for a backsplash. I love how this stamp can add a bit of dimension to a project.

Vintage Pearl Labels coordinates with JB-03730 Vintage Labels & Banner Dies. These are very versatile.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Grace & Peace,
Amy

November 2012 Release

Happy Thanksgiving

Praying that each of you has a sweet day today with your family and friends. There are so many things to be tankful for. Here is my really short list of things that I am thankful for.

1. Being loved by the Creator of the Universe. This year God has been drawing me to finding my satisfaction in Him, not people, events or things.

2. My husband has worked tirelessly to bless our family with what we need. He has worked so hard with no complaining all because he loves us so much. Also because he loves me. After 20 years I think he loves me even more today than the day we said "I do".

3. My children--Seeing all three continue to grow and become the person God desires them to be is such an amazing miracle.

4. My family--You may not believe this, but I am so thankful for both sides of my family. I couldn't have asked for better cheerleaders, encouragers, and yes--friends!

5. My friends--God has trusted me to be a part of some pretty special people's lives. They have helped me to grow and mature in the Lord as well as cry and laugh till it hurts.

6. JustRite & Kellie Fortin! I get to spend my days with my dear friend Kellie.

OK that was just my short list. I typed in so many things but realized you probably don't have time to read them all. I also wanted you to see the 2012 November Release.

Combined won't these make some great cards for the men you love! Lots of you have asked for stamps that you can use for a co-worker's birthday or other celebration. These have a bit of that retro automobile feeling. I can't wait to see how you use them to celebrate your guys.

This one has turned into one of my favorites. We live in a newer subdivision with empty lots behind our house. I have missed the mature trees from our last home (minus raking 3 times a year!). This open land brings birds that love the open grasses. We have bluebirds that come and sit on our patio & kitchen window. I think God sends them to visit me. I have also found that they enjoy eating tomatoes too! Between the bulebirds and Oreo I didn't get many tomatoes on my plant this year.

Hope you enjoy the November release. Please let me know your plans for this release. I love hearing from you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Grace & Peace,
Amy

JustRite October 2012 Release

Homecoming, football, bright orange leaves and cooler days. Autumn is a wonderful time of year. I am so thankful that God gave us seasons. Each season is so refreshing.

The October 2012 Release is now shipping. The JustRite Papercraft blog Design Team posted beautiful projects last week. They all used the October Release. Go to justritestampers.typepad.com if you would like to go through and see all the wonderful projects. Each of the Design Team lists tips and products that they use on their own blog. Make sure you click through to their blogs. You will enjoy seeing how they made those beautiful projects. There are 3 days of photos and tips!

This Cling set is all about the things we love--our friends & layering. The four labels can be cut with the JustRite Papercraft Die Templates: JB-03830 Antique Labels One Dies and JB-03775 Antique Tags One Dies.  Both die sets are pictured below.

This was one of my favorite borders to design. We wanted a way to make the borders feel like lace but not too feminine. They also needed to feel like a celebration for special days. The design team has stamped these in vivid colors as well as tone-on-tone and even white.

This set was inspired by all the fantastic embroidered pieces I have been seeing. While I was growing up my grandmother taught me how to embroider. We loved looking through the Workbasket magazines to find an embroidery project to work on. Even though my stitches were uneven and misshapen she still proudly displayed my "work of art". I do not know what I would have done without my supportive family. They all have encouraged me to continue in the arts. The thing I like about this stamp set is that it can be stamps much faster than embroidering this! Stamp first then use the Spellbinder Classic Edges Two dies to die cut.

With each passing week I am thinking more and more about Christmas. Not sure if it is because that means my son will be home for a few weeks or all the rich family tradition. Christmas is special to me because I can celebrate my Savior and the grace He provided at the cross. This Ornament set is perfect for spreading love this Christmas. The ornaments can be die cut using the Spellbinder Ornament die templates. Perfect for Christmas holiday tags.

Designed to coordinate with Classic Embroidered Edges Two.

Thank you for stopping by to see the October Release. This weekend we are celebrating Homecoming. My husband graduated from the same school that our children attend. This year my oldest son, Daniel, is part of the Alumni. We had an extra surprise this year too--my daughter was voted Junior Class Homecoming Princess. So dad gets to escort Rayanne to the Homecoming Court during the halftime events. I will have to post a princess photo for two.

Grace & Peace,
Amy

Pumpkin Treat Boxes

I have to let you in on a little secret. This new mom of a college student is struggling! It has only been six weeks since my son, Daniel, unpacked his bags at college. There is barely a day that goes by that I don't think about him and pray for him. It is so exciting to see him flourishing at college. Still, I feel like I need to spoil my big guy and his roommate.

This weekend I pulled out 2 Crystal Light plastic packages that I have been saving for this project. They were the perfect size for stashing candy, gift cards, laundry quarters, gum, or trail mix. The labels peeled off easily too.

The Autumn Damask and the Elegant Fronds Background Stamps were perfect for the pumpkins. I used the Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves to make leaves for the pumpkin boxes. I stamped the background stamps twice side-by-side. After stamping I cut the orange paper leaving about 1/4" inch at the top and bottom and 1/2" to one end. I used clear tape to tape the paper to the canister. I practiced a few times before securing it with hot glue. The canister tapers a bit. I had to work it so it didn't extend over the edge. I also cut a small piece to glue to the lid.

Pumpkins grow on beautiful vines. I used a brown pipe cleaner threaded through the lid and secured with a button for the vine. After I threaded both ends through the lid I curled the pipe cleaner over a pencil. (Looking aback at my photos I should probably add a piece of paper to cover the lovely hot glue shining through the thin plastic.)

The sentiment from the Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves was perfect. I stamped the leaves on printed paper and added a bit of distress. All the paper was from my paper stash. I have been collecting paper for years. This green plaid paper is from an old DCWV "The Guys Stack". I bent the leaves to give them a bit of shape and then used hot glue to add them to the pumpkin box.

Added Antique Autumn Tags One, buttons, die cut foliage from the Samantha Walker Spellbinder Die Templates Botanical Swirls and Accents, and twine for a bit of extra embellishment. I used the Antique Tag Dies to die cut the Antique Autumn Tag. My youngest son said that they ended up a bit girlie. Down deep I know Daniel will probably just toss this after he enjoys the goodies. That is ok. My mission was just to let him know that I am missing him.

Now you know my secret! It is going to be a long 9 months without Daniel. I would love to hear your clever gift ideas for me to make for my homesick son!

Grace & Peace,
Amy

September Release

Today was a perfect day! The temperatures are cooling down. Thinking about pulling out a sweater to keep by the door. Football is taking over our TV. That means that Autumn is here. With Autumn comes the September 2012 JustRite Release. It has been very difficult keeping this one quiet.

Inspired by the changing leaves I selected this background pattern. The JustRite Design Team have done a beautiful job creating projects to showcase the September Release. Stop by the JustRite Papercraft Blog to see all the beautiful work.

I have loved seeing all the layering that my stamping friends have been using. This Lace Background stamp can be used in so many ways. Aside from a typical background use it can be layer with another image on top or stamped in a nice tone-on-tone for a subtle background. I think you will enjoy this cling background stamp.

I have loved all the doilies that the design team has been using. When Kellie asked me to design lace that fits into the JustRite Papercraft dies I knew I was up for the challenge. Now you can have your lace and cut it out too! I have loved seeing the team use it in white with embossing.

This JustRite large format clear stamp was designed to match the Spellbinder Die Templates S5-147 Resplendant Rectangles and S5-148 Decorative Labels Eight. We had fun mixing and matching the words. The butterfly also matches a Spellbinders Die Template LF-006 Donna Salzar's Wonderful Wings.

Happy stamping! I can't wait to show you what I am working on for October!
Grace & Peace,
Amy

2012 August Release

It is countdown time for autumn & Christmas. This has to be one of my favorite times of the year. The colors never cease to amaze me! To kick off an early autumn we have more in the JustRite Papercraft 2012 August Release!

Have you stopped by the updated JustRite Papercraft website? We have been so busy trying to make it easier for you to navigate around the site.

This JustRite Clear set was inspired by my love of the colors of fall, all things vintage, and buttons. The buttons make wonderful acorns for this set! This could also be used for spring or a fun picnic in the park. I can already tell we will be seeing a lot of beautiful projects with this set.

Antique Autumn Tags One was designed so you could have beautiful cards, gift tags, place cards, labels and more! This coordinates with JB-03775 Antique Tags One Dies. Cutting your tags with the dies will make it easier for all those Thanksgiving holiday projects.

This tag set was designed to coordinate with the JustRite 2012 Christmas Collection. I already have plans for this set. Don't tell my friends at church...but the gals are getting jars of homemade hot chocolate mix dressed up with these fun tags. It will be the perfect way to tell them how much I appreciate them. How would you use this set? I love to hear your stories of how you use stamping to make an event special or celebrate a moment or person. Each person has such unique traditions and friends. I cannot wait to hear how you use stamping to make those moments and friends feel special.

These sweet tag dies are a part of the JustRite Custom Die collection. The dies are manufactured for us by Spellbinders. It is so fun to design a die set and have it made with the same quality as the Spellbinders die templates.

This large background stamp was designed so that it could be a beautiful background or the focal point of your card. JustRite Papercraft is a Spellbinders Preferred Partner AND a Spellbinder Custom Die Partner! I love being able to design stamps that will be easy for you to use and versatile. Merry Christmas Background Stamp was designed around the Spellbinder Die Templates S5-131 Matting Basics A and S5-132 Matting Basics B. These sets are Nestabilities Card Creator die templates. Each set is designed at 1/4" increments. Both sets together move up or down in 1/8" increments. Merry Christmas Background Stamp gives you the options to stamp it as one piece or stamp it then die cut. It makes a beautiful frame or a perfect shadow box. The large Christmas Ornaments are stunning when paired with this stamp.

Now for the fun part! be prepared to be inspired. The JustRite Design Team has been crafting beautiful projects for you today! The team is so creative. They find such unique ways to express themselves and their design flair with the JustRite Papercraft stamps and Custom Dies. Hope you can take a few minutes to click through today's Blog Hop.

Welcome Samantha Walker!

If you have been to the JustRite Papercraft website you have noticed that we added a new designer to the JustRite family! Samantha is a very talented designer. Her designs are fresh and creative. You will enjoy her stamps and dies too.

This month we have a beautiful mix of Samantha Walker Stamps and Samantha Walker Dies to introduce.
This clear set is so cute. The stamps have matching dies too. That means you can make little dresses to display on the dress form! Brings back lots of memories of playing with my dolls. My mom would get nervous when she lost track of the tape. I usually meant I was somewhere designing dresses! Now we can do it guilt free and in style too!

Look at all the extra goodies you get with this set! It matches the stamp set plus the extras.

This cling set has some fun elements to play with. Again this set matches the Botanical Swirls & Accents Dies. These are fun pieces that you can use to create beautiful cards as well as envelope seals.

Don't you just love the delicate card accents here. The JustRite Design Team has put together some beautiful projects using this die set. Stop by the JustRite Blog to be inspired.

Love the labels and the French script. This one is beautiful stamped in dark ink or in a subtle tone-on-tone. Even the Botanical Swirls matches this. It is fun to mix and match sets and dies.

Hope you enjoyed this new line of stamps.

Grace & Peace,
Amy

Summer 2012 CHA Kick Off!

Can you hear the bagpipes? Today is the day that we have been working towards. CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) kicks off in Chicago this morning. The CHA show is so much fun--it mixes friends & crafts. I was able to go to the Chicago CHA in 2010. I was overwhelmed. I should have packed less so I could bring everything back with me. Reading blogs and seeing some of the photos from CHA will give you an idea of all the fun.

My favorite part was getting to know the JustRite Design Team better. I am blessed to have such a talented group of women to showcase the Amy Tedder Designs stamp collection. Each blog post gets me fired up to design more stamps for them to play with.

This Summer CHA is no exception. The Becca Feeken, Amazing Paper Grace Stamp Collection launches today. We have been working behind the scenes with Becca Feeken. You know her from the JustRite Design Team. Each stamp release she crafts beautiful projects for JustRite. Today we publicly announce that she is joining the stamp illustrator team! She was excited this morning when I told her that she was the main feature on my blog!

Vintage Alphabet Soup Background Stamp is so wonderful. The Design Team has been making lots of projects already with this. This stamp can be inked with one color or selectively colored with markers. Lots of options! Becca made a beautiful project with this stamp. See Becca's blog for more details.

This is a set you need to see in action. Becca designed this to have choices for sentiments. You can see that there are 2 thought libraries "Because you are so..." and I_____ you". The words on the top half of this package insert (shown above) fill in nicely with the "Because you are so...". The words towards the bottom fill in the blank left in the "I____you" sentiment. If you look to the bottom right of the package insert shown above, you will see a third set of words. These "words" can be used with many of the words to create your own words or sentiments. Visit Becca's blog AmazingPaperGrace to see the beautiful projects she created with this set.

Vintage Filigree Fancies was the first set that was introduced. This set is also versatile. The flowers may be used to create a focal point or a beautiful background. You may notice two other structural images on this storage card. The swirls in the middle of the board may be used to create a frame for the sentiments. The pin shaped image near the bottom right can also be used to make a frame. Use the images in a number of configurations to make a frame. Check Becca's blog AmazingPaperGrace.com to see more.

Hope you have enjoyed this introduction. Both Kellie & Becca said that they would send some photos of the JustRite Papercraft CHA booth and the Becca Release for me to share. Becca has been an inspiration to me as well as countless others. She has a sweet testimony. If you do not visited her blog I hope you do. It has been a privilege to walk with Becca through starting her JustRite Amazing Paper Grace stamp collection. She is already planning the next release!

Grace & Peace,
Amy

P.S. If you go to the JustRite website or JustRite blog you will get a sneak peek of who we will introduce next!

CHA 2012 July Release

The next set is With Gratitude Labels One. It uses all the little sentiments that you need. This set is easily becoming one of my favorites. I have stamped this set. It looks pretty with a little bit of a glitter pen rolled around the edges or on the scroll work. The best part is that it can be die cut with the JustRite Custom Dies JB-03830 Antique Labels One.

Hope you like this set that can be used in so many ways. This may be the set that I use to make my Awana Leader Thank You gifts for this fall. I have collected 20 tiny jars to use for hot chocolate mix. Maybe after school starts!

Grace & Peace,
Amy

CHA July 2012 Release Day 3

Hello Friends.

Today I wanted to show you two new JustRite Papercraft Clear Stamps. These sets are so versatile. They each have a large label matched up with multiple tags. Even though I spend the majority of my time designing, I pushed away from the computer to stamp this set! It will be added at the bottom of my post. Stop by the JustRite Blog to be inspired by the Design Team!

The first is Just Because Vintage Labels. This clear set has 18 stamps. It is designed to allow you to layer. The flowers are also fun to color. In my craft mind I can see this stamp on a gift jar with a sweet tag hanging off the lid. Just Because Vintage Labels coordinates with two JustRite Custom Die sets: Antique Labels One and Vintage Label & Banner Dies.

Well, here it is. I did promise you I'd show my stamped image. There are a few declaimers! #1 I am a stamp designer--not a card designer. #2 I only have 8 Copic Markers! They are so incredible. I just don't color as much as I really want to. The ones I have I use to test stamped product. In 2010 I was privileged to take Copic Certification class with my dear friend, Debbie Olson. The class helped me to learn how to use the wonderful Copic markers. They are on my wish list.

Between being a full-time freelance graphic designer and a wife and mother I am a tad busy. This weekend I was putting together belated birthday cards for my niece and nephew (the ones that helped their dad restore an old Mustang). My boxed birthday cards just looked so plain. Thought I'd try to alter them a bit.

This first card uses the Just Because label. The mini tag is from one of my other favorite sets Violette Vintage Labels. Both mini tags die is from JB-08950 Nested Frame Dies. The tag die is longer than the sentiments. It was die cut with the sentiment close to the loop and then snipped afterwards to make it shorter. The card uses the same tag. The large car label and the sentiment on the second card are from Going Places Vintage Labels.

Thinking about upcoming JustRite Releases--What colorable images would you like to have? I am wondering what you would like to see coming in future JustRite Papercraft releases.

Grace & Peace,
Amy
