Whew! This May my husband and I celebrated many wonderful events. Our oldest turned 18. He graduated from high school with honors. We finished up track & soccer seasons with the two high schoolers. Plus, Paul and I celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary. We have had a beautiful May. Someone said, "May is quickly becoming the new December." I think he was right. We all are adding so many activities near the end of the school year. But now that school is out, I have already heard the "there is nothing to do!"
Don't worry--June will be filled with lazy days, a sweet sixteen party, the summer games, Braves baseball, and crafting friends. I have a bead party planned with my fifth grade girls and a stamping party with some sweet girlfriends. I'll see if they will let me take a few photos of their creations.
In the mean time we have been getting ready for CHA and the June Release. I am eager for you to see all the new sets. Be looking for June 2012 Release Introductions this next week! The talented card design team will be showcasing new sets throughout the week. Even the new stamp sets will get you ready for summer!
Grace & Peace,

DAY THREE -- May 2012 Release
Welcome back! Here is even more of the May 2012 Release. The Heart Scroll Background Stamp works perfectly with the sets included in the May 2012 Release. I am seeing some beautiful tone-on-tone images. What do you think? Maybe those upcoming June weddings...
Here are more of the flowers found in my grandmother's yard. Growing up I was able to enjoy all of these without having to do all the work. Now I know all the love and work that goes into having beautiful blossoms. I'm still trying to coax my hydrangea bushes to grow!
Classic Art Deco Lace Edges One works with the Spellbinder Classic Edges dies. JustRite is one of the few Custom Die Partners with Spellbinders. Using the dies makes it so easy to add lace to your projects! Die cut your paper then easily stamp your border onto the cut out shape. Some of the designers have been using white embossing powder when stamping on vellum. The effect is beautiful!
This new set of dies works well with the May Release stamp sets. The banners are perfect for layering. I cannot wait to see what everyone designs with the stamp sets and dies. Don't you think these are perfect for decoupage! Our newly designed packaging includes photos and directions on the inside! There are ideas and tips included too.
Happy Stamping!

DAY TWO -- May 2012 Release
What a full week! Hope you were able to see the cards and projects that the design team worked on. The gals are fabulous designers.
This May Release has stamps that will help with some of those masculine cards and scrapbooks. Father's Day is getting closer. This first set, CL-03740 Going Places Vintage Labels is perfect for birthdays, road trips, graduation, Father's Day, race fans and so much more! As I worked on this set I thought about my brother-in-law and his family. He and his two children rebuilt a Ford Mustang. They did a beautiful job. You should see the smiles on their faces when they get to drive it. I know that they will enjoy a card or two made from this set. I will post photos of them. (I think I am safe because my brother-in-law will never read my post.)
Hope you enjoy the Violette Vintage Labels! This set has a special spot in my heart. My family moved to a large farm. We were living in Illinois where the soil is a deep black. Everything just seems to flourish in that soil. Near the front of the old Victorian farm house was a patch of violets. It had overtaken the area under the bushes under the bay window. One day I was sitting by the violets when I spotted ladybugs. As I pushed back the violet leaves it revealed a colony of ladybugs. It was amazing to see them. The red against the purple and white was beautiful.
It also reminds me of my grandmother. We would pick handfuls of violets for her. She always made me feel loved when we brought the flowers to her. Her yard was full of violets, lilly of the valley, rose of sharon, daffodils, peony, bachelor buttons, Chinese lantern, bleeding heart and so much more.
The third set in today's reveal also is special! My oldest is graduating from high school in a few weeks!
I haven't made his announcements yet. I was waiting on this set to be manufactured! I can't wait to get them in the mail. Summer Words is perfect for all that summer activity.
Happy stamping!
